(1) Draw part drawings

Combined with the available stamping equipment specifications, mold manufacturing conditions, production batch, and other factors, analyze the stamping process of the parts.
(2) Determine the process plan
The calculation of main process parameters is based on the analysis of stamping process, and a comprehensive analysis is conducted from the aspects of equipment occupancy, difficulty and lifespan of mold manufacturing, ease of operation and safety. The characteristics and difficulties of process and mold design are identified, including process properties, number of processes, sequence and combination methods, and the best solution suitable for existing production conditions is determined.
(3) Set process parameters
Process parameters refer to the data based on which the process plan is formulated, such as various forming factors (drawing coefficient, bulging coefficient, etc.), part unfolding size, punching force, forming force, etc. There are two situations for calculation. The first is that process parameters can be calculated more accurately, such as material utilization rate of part layout, punching pressure center, workpiece area, etc; The second type is that process parameters can only be used for approximate calculations, such as general bending or deep drawing forming forces, complex component blank unfolding dimensions, etc.
(4) Select stamping equipment
The selection of stamping equipment is based on the nature of the stamping process to be completed and the force and energy characteristics of various stamping equipment. The main factors required for stamping processing, such as deformation force, deformation work, mold closure height, and contour size, are considered, and the equipment type and tonnage are reasonably selected based on the existing equipment situation of the enterprise.
